**This schedule replaces any previously published schedules due to either postponements, corrections, or cancellations due the Covid -19 situation. Most of the ones that had to cancel or reschedule are rescheduling for this year. Any changes to this schedule will be posted in the Exchange Club newsletter, on our website, at romeexchangeclub.com under Tomb News, the National Exchange website, and the SHGTUS.com website under Centennial Events.


JUNE 2021

June 18, 2021Rome, Ga. at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds, 69 Church Street, SE, Rome, Ga. 30162 in the Community Building at 10:00 a.m. for the JPOE and it is open to the public free of charge.


JULY 2021

July 3 – 4, 2021Greenville, Kentucky. It will be displayed in the Veteran’s Plaza located between two court buildings in Greenville’s epicenter at 100 S. Main St., Greenville, Ky. 42345. On the 3rd it will be on display from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and on the 4th it will be displayed from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

July 8 – July 12, 2021 – Safety Harbor, Florida at the Safe Harbor Resort for the Florida Exchange Club District Convention. The address for the site is 105 North Bayshore Dr., Safety Harbor, Fl. 34695. These dates include one travel day to and from the site. The Exhibit will be on 9 – 11 July and will be on exhibit from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Set up will be upon arrival on the 8th of July. Contact is Bill King at (706)766-8451.

July 20, 2021 – Trafalgar, Ind. – The Tomb replica will be on display at 3039 W. C.R. 300S, Trafalgar, Ind. from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and is open to the public at no charge. Contact is Bill King at (706)766-8451

July 23 – 24, 2021 – Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the Mary Chilton Chapter of the DAR and the South Dakota Society DAR at 1600 West Russell St., Sioux Falls, S.D. 57104. The hours of display will be 9:00 a.m – 6:00 p.m. on the 24th and 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on the 25th. Contact is Bill King (706)766-8451.

July 26 – 29, 2021 – Seward, Nebraska for Seward, Nebraska National Guard Museum located at 201 North 8th Street, Seward Nebraska 68434. The times of display will be 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. each day. Contact is Bill King (706)766-8451.

July 31 – Aug. 1 – Tomb Replica to North Platt, Nebraska for the Sioux Lookout Chapter of the DAR – The exhibit will be displayed at the Buffalo Bill Scouts Rest Ranch State Park. It will be on display from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m on Saturday, July 31 and from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1. Contact Bill King at (706)766-8451.


AUGUST 2021

Aug. 6 – 8, 2021 – Kingston, N.Y. at 25 Kiersted Ave., Kingston, New York 454137 from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on the 6th and 7th and from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on the 8th. Contact is Bill King at (706)766-8451

August 9 – 11, 2021 – West Sunbury, Pa. at the Butler County Farm Show located at 625 Evans City Road, Butler, Pa. 16001 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Aug. 9 & 10; 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on the 11th. Contact is Bill King at (706)766-8451.

August 12 – 16, 2021 – Tomb Replica in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania at the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge which is located at 1601 Valley Forge Rd., Valley Forge, Pa. 19482 in the Martha Washington Building and is sponsored by the Valley Forge Chapter of the DAR in conjunction with the Valley Forge Foundation. First showing on the 13th at 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.; showing on the 14th from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.; showing on the 15th from 10 a.m. until noon. Contact for this event is Bill King, (706)766-8451.


SEPTEMBER 2021

Sept. 1 – 5, 2021 (1st & 7th will be travel days)- Tomb replica to Hartwell, Ga. at the Cateechee Conference Center. More details to follow in June as this is firm. Contact is Bill King, (706)766-8451.

Sept. 9 – 10, 2021Exchange Club National Convention in Memphis, Tenn. at the Peabody Hotel, 149 Union Ave., 38103, rescheduled from April 7 – 10, 2021. The hours of display will be 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on the 9th and 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on the 10th. Contact is Bill King, (706)766-8451.

Sept. 11 – 12, 2021 – Tomb replica to Quincy, Ill. with 10th and 13th as travel days to and from. This program is for the Quincy, Ill. Exchange Club’s Field of Honor. Exhibit on 11 &12SEPT2021. Hours for viewing will be from 10 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. both days. The location of the exhibit will be at 1501 Vermont Street, Quincey Ill. 62301.Contact Bill King at (706)766-8451

Sept. 13 – 15, 2021Lincoln Illinois – 12th& 15 – 16th will be travel days with 13 – 15th as exhibit days. The exhibit will be in the American Legion Hall located at 1740 5th Street, Lincoln, Ill. 62656 from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on the 13th and 14th and from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the 15th. OCTOBER 2021

Oct. 5 – 9, 2021 – Tomb replica in Rome, Ga. at the Coosa Valley Fair in the Community Building from 5 – 10 p.m. daily. Event site address is 1400 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., 30161. Contact is Bill King, (706)766-8451.

Oct. 12 – 15, 2021Covington, Louisiana for the Wharton Chapter of the DAR. We will be displaying at the St. Tammany Justice Center Veterans’ Plaza , at 701 N. Columbus Street, Covington, Louisiana. Display times will be 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Contact – Bill King (706)766-8451.

Oct. 19 – 23, 2021 – Tentative display at Columbus, Ohio at the National Veteran’s Museum. Dates include travel days. More details TBA by end of June. Contact Bill King (706)766-8451

NOVEMBER 2021

Nov. 4 – 6 – Tomb replica to Manchester, Ga. – Cancelled

Nov. 9 – Tomb replica at the Thornton Recreation Center, 102 North Floyd Park Rd., Rome, Ga. 30165 for the Rome City/Floyd County retired teachers luncheon at 11:00 a.m. to observe Veteran’s Day. Contact is Bill King, (706)766-8451.
Immediately following this program the replica will be moved to the Rome City Auditorium Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 – The Tomb replica will be set up in the lobby of the Rome City Auditorium, 601 Broad St., Rome, Ga. 30161 for a concert for Veteran’s Day by the Northwest Georgia Winds at 7:30 p.m. Set up will be immediately following the event at the Thornton Center mentioned above. Nov. 11 – Tomb replica in Rome, Ga. at the Myrtle Hill Cemetery, 20 Myrtle St., SW, Rome, Ga. 30161 next to the Tomb of the Known Soldier of World War I for the Centennial of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Contact is Bill King (706)766-8451.

Nov. 11, 2021 – Following the previous appearance of the replica it will be moved to the John Towers statue just outside the Rome City Auditorium (weather permitting) to be on display for the Rome International Film Festival’s Salute to the Veterans on Nov. 11 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again on the 12th from 10 a.m. until 5

Nov. 13, 2021 – Tomb replica at the Palladium (Sweet Ps) at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds, 69 Church St., Rome, Ga. for the Rome, Ga. Xavier Chapter of the DAR. Time is 11:00 a.m. and it is open to the public.

Nov. 15 – 20, 2021Salem, Ind. for the Christopher Harrison DAR at the Salem Army National Guard Building located at 1100 N Shelby St., Salem, Ind. 47167 More details to follow. Contact is Bill King at (706)766-8451.
